I have a whole chicken and want to make chicken and noodles with dumplings. I have never used a whole chicken before and don't know what to do?? Any suggestions???

For mothers day we are having a meal at my house my brother is making the starter my sister is making the main and I am making dessert but I need ideas for what to make... If it's cake it needs to be simple cause I always manage to burn cake... and it needs to be something that can be made the day before and shoved in fridge/freezer.

can u eat a star fish? my brother has one in his aquiriam and i want to get him back for stealing my boyfreinds bicyle, so was thinking about cooking it up and searving it to him then telling him he has just eaten his favourite little binky the star fish, i dont actually want to poison him just make him cry!!!

I have a large package of chicken (thigh/legs )and a small whole chicken. I'd like to cook it up to use in recipes that call for cooked chicken. Which way is the best way to cook it? I'd rather not bake it. So should I....

Boil it or put it in the crock pot? For how long? and what should I add to it? Do I remove the skin first?
