My grocery store has chile manzano. (They're quite a large roundish chile that is yellow or orange.) Does anyone have a recipe -- for salsa or anything else -- that uses these? And how hot are they?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew if a tool existed to flatten chicken easily and more evenly. I know how to do it conventionally, with wax paper or plastic wrap and a rolling pin or meat mallet. I'm not particularily good at it, and it's a bit of a pain in general. I was thinking there must be something to make the process easier and more even.

I was thinking something akin to those manual aluminum can crushers or perhaps a vice or some kind, but I can't seem to find anything like that online. Does anyone know if anything like this exists?

Thanks!

you would think that it would be easy to figure out something like this but all i can find is those 4hr recipes that require cooking the sugar and other annoying inconviniences. I just want to mix together some water, lemonjuice, and sugar. Please tell the the correct measurments.

I don't want a link UNLESS you have tried it yourself. Do you have a excellent BBQ sauce recipe? Good BBQ is hard to find, and restaurants who serve great tasting ones (legendary quality) are few and far between. I need a recipe you have actually tried.

I Love a great BBQ with cole-slaw smothered across the top. Give me your best shot, baby. Daddy's taste buds is screaming!

One of the true testiments to being single is ruining your first eggplant receipe. And I'm proud to say that "I am". I love the flavor of the eggplant, that or I've grown quite partial to weird looking food. I tried frying it last week, needless to say it did'nt turn out as I wanted it to. (imagine O-gratin potatoes with purple rings.) I'm no longer the proud cook I was before I met the eggplant. Alittle help?...ok,ok, ALOT of help please. I just want to include it in my pasta!!!

The dressing seems to have shredded ginger in it, and has a light, crisp taste. I'd love to purchase or make a version of this for when we can't get to the restaurant.

I have a recipe for orange chicken, and I love it, save for one thing...the chicken is not crispy! I've tried to find "crispy orange chicken" recipes, but only find slightly crisp (the edges).
Does anyone know of a good crust recipe that’s not too heavy? I once saw one made with egg whites (of course I lost it!) I'm looking to get chicken pieces similar to how it is at Big Bowl or PF Chang's....
Thanks for your help!
