350 degrees farenheit, 20 minutes per pound, until internal temp reaches core heat of 160 for well.

your oven isn't working.

Time for a quick fix. Place a large lidded pot on the stove top and turn that burner up. Add butter to that hot pot and put that roast in the sizzling butter. Sear on all sides and pour about two inches of stock or water into the pot. Lid and leave lidded for one hour on med to medium high. Add liquid as necessary.

Don't open the lid except to add water. Pork is moist and will taste well even if slightly overcooked but, I doubt this can happen with a roast that size in an hour.

After an hour check the internal temp. the roast will continue to cook and raise about 10 more degrees setting out resting before you cut into it.

If it is still raw after 3 hours, then your oven is not working properly. You will have to slice it and finish on top of stove till done. A pork roast should be browned really well on high heat for the first 15 minutes then at about 375 degrees for the rest of the time depending on how large the roast.-

Is your element broken? If you have a theremometer that goes to a high temperature, check if it reads what the oven is set at. Also, did you cook the roast covered or uncovered? It does make a difference in cooking time but the roast still should not be raw. Your oven may be at fault!

does the oven put off any heat when you open the door? if not you might want to contact an appliance repair person (like a Sears).
You might try, next time, slow cooking the roast in a crockpot/slow cooker.....few hours and it's done. add a bit of water and your veggies and seasoning when you first put the roast in and it will be done by time you get home from work. This also works with whole chickens

That's a really high temp to cook that on, 375 should be sufficient.
It sounds like your oven isn't working properly. Do you have gas or electric stove?
If you have a crock pot you may want to start cooking it in that and have it for tomorrow nights dinner.

475 is kind of high for a roast that size but if it's been in that long i'd say your oven thermostat is not working right.

Does the oven seem really hot when you open the door?

your oven isn't working properly..your roast should be burnt to a crtisp..when cooked that high and that long....

the good news is....you just might need a part replaced...

I think your oven is broken..that meat has cooked entirely 2222222 long...with that temp. setting it should have been done by at least 4-4:30

Was the roast frozen and did you forget to thaw it out first?
