I'm looking to make one of these for my daughter's birthday. Could I just follow a traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe and just bake it all at once, or do I need a special recipe. If I had to guess I'd say I'd need a specialized recipe due to the large amount that I'd have to bake.

I searched the internet for one but all I turned up for numerous cookie recipes. Thanks in advance to everyone.

I purchased a new wok that needed to be pre seasoned. The directions we not very clear and I left a puddle of oil in the bottom of the wok. Before I knew it, the bottom had turned a shinny black. My understanding is that it will turn back with time, not within 10 minutes. Should I try to scrub this of and re season, or is this a good season base?

When i get sad i cook up something my grandma or mom used to make me when i was sick or feeling down and it helps me get out of a rut. I was cooking the other day and my friend told me that resorting to food when i am depressed is bad. I have altered all my recipes so they are healthier and i don't stuff my face i mean i still excercise like usual and everything. everytime i get down in the dumps i don't go to food i have other ways it's just sometimes i like to get out the pots and pans and make homemade chicken pot-pie. it's just comfort food is like a pick-me-up. Is it Bad to resort to comfort food?

Want something easy to use, dishwasher safe and with ice crushing function. Have looked at the magic bullet but too expensive and reviews are rubbish.

I made homemade beef caldo (Mexican soup) and have put to much black pepper. I don't want to start over because the rest of the seasoning is good. Any suggestions on how to pull some of the pepper out?

I'm an amateur gourmet looking for a very durable, sharp knife that works for slicing meats, finely chopping herbs, and great for making thin slices of fruits and veggies. A link to a site where I may purchase the knife would be super helpful too.

I made my first homemade cake yesterday! Carrot. yum! It was great but it looked pretty bad because when icing the sides of the cake (it was a 2-layer 9" round) I made such a mess all over the side of the plate and the coverage on the sides was not even.
What is the best way to apply icing to the sides of a cake?
thanks
