It seems that way because coming up as a child I hated it. My daughter loves mayo. I still don't care for it.

Maybe it is just because she is 5 and is head-strong about having options but my kid NEVER wants any condiments what-so-ever. She won't even delve into the wonderful world of catchup.

I haven't heard that one. I have 2 children and they hate it. Maybe it's all kids love ranch dressing?

Not all kids like it.
But most kids just eat it and they don't even know what is that also.
