Yes but you should put a bit of oil or butter in with them. or spray the pan with non stick spray and add a bit of water. Add some salt and pepper and maybe a bit of garlic or cut up onion.

Yes
tatos? I assume you mean potatos. Heat up oil in a pan until it just starts to make the pan smoke. Put the potatos into the pan. Keep stirring the potatos. When you see parts of the potatos turn brown, take the pan off the heat and cover for about three minutes. Return the pan to the heat and remove the cover. Cook until brown. Make sure you keep stirring.
This is call raw fried potatos.
The reason why the potatos need to steam with the cover, cooking raw potatoes will only yield hard dense cubes, not the nice fluffy potatos.

They will cook, but what are you trying to achieve, like McDonald's French Fries... that a is a two part frying system so you wont get that by just throwing them in a pan....
A saute with rosemary, garlic, and onion would be nice.... start with olive oil though. :) Or just through them all together in the oven, tossed in a bit of olive oil... much healthier than frying in vats of oil.

Yes they will. I spray them with Pam and add salt and pepper and let them cook up. They come out very tasty, but they are sorta easy to burn if you don't pay close enough attention to them. Make sure you cut them up small enough or they'll take quite a bit of time to cook through.

Sure they will but depending on your pan you may need some oil or something to keep them from sticking.

Yes, they will. I think they are called Country Potatoes. Add some onions and bell peppers and you have an awesome side dish.
