Years ago my mom made the best apple pies. She has sadly passed away and I am trying to figure out how to make her special kind.

Hers were more like applesauce filling and very sweet, NO hard tart apples at all. I do recall she'd send me to the store for The Red Delicious variety of apples. She'd simmer these for HOURS until they were just a little thicker than apple sauce. Problem it, I have no idea how long, if she put water in them, or what. They were HEAVENLY! Anyone know how she might have cooked these apples? Thanks!

i knew they weren't supporsedto but they said they accidently hit it with their speed boat and brought it home to butcher. it is ver, vvery delicious. but i feel guilty despite how tender and sweet the steaks were with pineapple and almond rice on the side. delicious manatee. people in florida used to eat them all the time. Gator tail is also a big item in Fla. They eat everything in Fla.

I have searched all my recipe sites (even Bordens!) for a recipe to whip whipped topping to no avail. I know the basics are sugar, whipping cream and beat it, but I don't know the specifics. I've tried all the different names and variations I know to search. Does anyone have one or know where I can find it??
