you cant really pull the pepper out.... sorry you may try to make more soup, like a half batch and dont put any pepper in it, then add the two soups and see how that turns out

Hard to do. Very hard to do. Plus, the extra pepper will probably make the broth more bitter.
Pepper will settle to the bottom, but I suspect it's too late.

I have heard that adding a potato to it will draw out some of the heat... (peel and cut in half lengthwise)

maybe add more beef broth.. hum... they say, who ever they are, anyway they say potatoes absorbs salt if you put too much of that, maybe it would work for pepper.
