I would like to purchase a program for home use to organize and store my personal recipes. In the future I have thought about publishing a family collection of recipes. What would be the best programs for these uses? I have looked at several and some of these have features that I would not use or are real complicated to use. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks for your help with this. Susan

I am looking for an egg nog recipe from an insert in the Detroit News in the '70's. It was called "Cinnanog". It was made eggs, whipped cream, cinnamon candies, etc. If anyone has this recipe I would really appreciate a copy.
Thanks

My neighbor made this great Christmas cookie one year. It was kind of like a brownie, but shaped like a little mountain, and it was full of creamy coconut. YUMMY.

Recipe on Libby Canned Pumpkin Pie Mix calls for "all purpose baking mix", when making pumpkin muffins. Couldn't find such a thing in the store. Could they have meant 'all purpose flower'? Note that the recipe did not call for baking soda or baking powder, making me think that there is such a thing as a baking mix... but I just couldn't find it. Can I make one myself? How? Thanks

Ok I've know how to measure the oil and all that. So here's the question....the thermomiter where does it go? It looks long like i want to jam it in the bird to see if the internal tempature is 300 degrees, but then again there is a clip on the do dad and it says tork of flame if it gets to the 600 degree range. So what's the correct way to deep fry the bird?

Normally I cook a meat dish, a veggie (or salad) and have a side dish like pasta roni or rice a roni. I really want to get away from doing dishes like pasta ronis because they are so high in sodium and can be high in fat too.

If any one has any ideas for side dishes or knows of a good place to find reicpes I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
