We always make everyone fudge and they love it. Every November, they're asking us to make it again...

I just went to the dollar store and bought a cheap whicker basket and some shreaded paper. Then I placed a loaf of banana nut bread, no bake peanut butter bars, and fudge in the basket and took it over to my neighbors tonight and they loved it. It did not take me long to make the goodies.

Here are the recipes:

The Peanut Butter Fudge was the easiest of the two fudges. Milionaire Fudge took a little more work.

There are also other recipes that you might like listed on the site. But these are my favorite to give as gifts. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

I always do a cookie or brownie mix in a jar for my neighbors. Everything is layered in a jar with a pretty lid on it and the recipe attached. You can find many recipes for cookies, brownies, bean soup to bath salts if you do a search for "recipes in a jar". You can buy in bulk and make many jars for your neighbors. After you layer the ingredients in the jar cover the lid with a pretty piece of material and tie a ribbon around it with the instructions for baking or for use attached. Some of the sites have cute notes that you can print out and attach. Hope this helps..

I just finished 2 large pans of candy that took me all of 30 minutes. Buy some chocolate or vanilla almond bark. It's the candy coating that comes in squares. You simply microwave it according to the package directions. Take a large jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides and cover with wax paper. After the almond bark is melted, stir in whatever you like. Spread thinly in the pan and sprinkle the top with chopped candy, nuts, cookies, etc. Press them gently into the melted almond bark, then chill in the fridge or freezer. Break into pieces and enjoy. I put mine in Christmas tins lined with wax paper. Just for a few suggestions, here's what I made:

vanilla almond bark, sprinkled with dried cranberries & blueberries and some mixed nuts & sunflower seeds (found in the bulk food section of the grocery store but you can use any nuts)

vanilla almond bark with dried cherries or cranberries and pistachios is pretty this time of year, too.

chocolate almond bark stirred with whole almonds; then I sprinkled the top with sliced almonds and "Heath" toffee bits

vanilla almond bark, stirred with the "Andes" peppermint baking chips (turned the almond bark a pretty pink) and sprinkled with more of the peppermint baking chips and crushed candy canes (I put them in the blender... you could also use peppermint candies)

As you can tell, the sky's the limit as far as ingredients. I once saw a recipe for vanilla almond bark with crushed "Oreos" for a "cookies and cream" candy.

A tip: Don't try adding ANY liquid, such as flavoring/extract, to the almond bark; it will seize up and won't be creamy. GOOD LUCK

I make peanut clusters by melting chocolate chips and throwing in peanuts. You mix them around to coat, drop them on waxed paper for like 15 minutes til they harden. You can do the same thing with almonds to make almond bark, only spread it out into a bar shape. Break it apart when it it hardened.

just go to a CVS and get a bunch of nice Xmas Candy and put it in a Christmas Stocking (they sell them too) and you have a fast and easy gift. If you dont have a CVS try a dollar store! Merry Christmas!

How about:

Party Mix (check out the Chex cereal website -- I think it's chex.com -- they have lots of different ideas -- sweet, salty)
Peppermint Bark
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Easy cookies like no bake cookies, ginger cookies, etc.
