Yes, but your shouldn't eat Hot dogs anyways. Hot or Cold. They are nasty.

Hot dogs are technically cooked when you buy them from the store. They are essentially bologna, so it's fine. The bratwurst, on the other hand, was not such a good idea. Actual raw meat is no bueno typically. Especially pork, which is what most sausages are made of. If you live in the States, or in the Western world, it probably was so over processed and preserved that you'll probably be fine, regardless. One wonders why you would eat raw bratwurst, though... raw meat tastes weird.

No such thing as a raw hot dog.
Hot dog refers to a hot sausage in a soft bread roll.
Too many people do not know the between sausages and hot dogs.

I you buy a hot dog from a supermarket/butcher and they are within "code" they are perfectly safe to eat. Comercial Hot Dogs are a fully cooked sausage product.

No - even though they are cooked they need to be heated prior to eating or you risk a type of food poisoning called Listeria. Just steam or cook in the microwave for at least 1 minute. Good Luck!

Yes you can because they are not really raw. It's just like eating sandwich meat cold.

Yes, my kids do in the summer when we grill. If you want to eat them raw.....buy a GOOD BRAND and a TURKEY one.

yes. If you mean the kind that comes out of the fridge cold, of course you can. They're very good too.
