I was at my friend's house and someone's mom brought over some chocolate chip cookies. They were the biggest, puffiest, fluffiest chocolate chip cookies I had ever seen or eaten. They were the best I've ever eaten. I started trying to replicate these and how no luck. I was wondering if any of you knew how to do this. Each cookie in the middle was probably about 1.5-2 inches tall. I've tried using more baking soda, using butter-flavored crisco, baking powder, and cake flour to make them bigger. None have worked. I've tried different combinations of these and had no success and haven't even come close. Any idea how to make these things big? I was thinking about trying self-rising flour or yeast next and seeing if that would work.

Thank you

I am preparing chicken breast strips that I covered in a marinade of olive oil, wine, sugar, soy sauce, and spices. Plans changed, can't cook it for four hours. Is it okay to leave the chicken in the marinade for that length of time--will it toughen the chicken?--or should I just go ahead and cook it now and reheat it later? Thanks.

The other day I asked a question about whether to put the hershey kiss before or after I bake the cookies and most people said to put it in after. I am making the cookies right now and I tested three cookies and when I put the hershey kiss in after I baked the cookies, they began to melt and then I tested one cookie by puting the kiss in first and its a mess!!! After I bake the cookies, should I wait 10 minutes to put the kisses in or what? I made these cookies a whole year and a half ago and I CAN'T REMEMBER AT ALL how I made them so well!!! NEED HELP ASAP!!
