did Milky Way (UK) filling used to be brown?

It's white now. But was it always? I think it used to be brown nougat back in the day

Milky Way used to make a Chocolate version it was even sold here in the US but it lacked the popularity of the traditional nougat.

I think here in us it's always been brown.

it was an almost tan color. Close to brown though.
