how many cups does one stick of butter equal too?

Right - a cup is 8 oz. so you should be able to determine from the butter label. I get butter that somes in 2 sticks, but some get it that comes in 4 sticks, so it is hard to say for sure without more info.

This depends on the size of the stick of butter. Most butter is marketed in a one pound, 4 stick box. One of those sticks is 1/2 cup.

depends, the kind i buy it is 1 stick = 1/2 cup
look on the butter wrapper (it is probably foil-like)

I am not to sure but I thought that i should have gottin back to u anyway but if i was gonna take a guess it would maybe be about 2
