I want to make some cookies and everyting i have calls for Vanilla Extract, i was wondering if there was any substitutes for Vanilla Extract? I had some over Thanks Giving, but it came up missing after.... NO CLUE... LMAO

You can use any other flavoring like almond or lemon. It is to enhance and provide flavor to cookies, cakes and sweet beverages, just be sure that if using citrus for flavor it is not in contact with milk or it will be unpleasant. You can also use other sweet spices too like nutmeg and allspice. Good Luck!

You can use a splash of liquor like Frangelico (hazlenut) or Chambord (raspberry) if you have it, or some minced/shaved lemon peel. Vanilla perks up the flavor but you can substitute any other flavoring you have on hand.

vanilla extract just really adds flavor and has no other purpose ur cookies will be fine without it
