I'm looking for a recipe for a cool german dessert, or atleast something that you don't have to serve warm or cold or something. The reason being that I have to bring a dish to German class on friday, so as long as i can carry it somewhere and isn't messy and stuff would be tight. So yeah, any german dessert things would be totally tight, thanks! =)

I always bake Christmas cookies starting 3 days prior to Cmas. But I was curious if I could make it easier and make them, then freeze them. Would they be ok or should I stick to making them a few days prior. If I can freeze them, what sort of cookies freeze and thaw well? Thanks and Merry CHRISTmas!

I am looking to do something flavorful with the chicken thighs and BBQ sauce I have at home. I was thinking of marinating the chicken in a BBQ sause for about an hour and a half then placing the thighs in the oven to cook with a little of the marinade poured on top. When the chicken thighs are just about ready I'll place them in a large pot with some BBQ sauce mixed with a little water and place a lid on top to hold the steam in. Anyone think I will get more moister and flavor with this not yet tried recipe?

Can someone please help me translate this Lumpia Recipe for my friend's mom in Spanish? She tried my mom's lumpia and she loved it, but she knows very little English. You may use this recipe too if you would like =) 10 points for the most precise translation. No online translators please, it will confuse the heck out of her. Thanks!

I am planning on serving 200+ people hot chocolate and want to come up with the easiest and most inexpensive way to prepare the hot chocolate. I have 2 large perc. coffee pots - has any one tried filling a percalor with hot water & mixing containers of dry hot chocolate mix? What about Nestle hot chocolate syrup. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Plain potatoes are just too dry for me even with added herbs/spices. I'm thinking of trying Molly McButter mixed with yogurt or yogurt cheese as a topping. Maybe a little avacado? Fattening I know, but healthy. I have some milled flax seed but that might be too dry (and bland). What else would be good on a baked potato? Thanks
