as one finds in McDonald, Wimpys etc. The recipe I had triied is make potato finger(raw) , dip them in salty boiling water and take out immediately after one minute or so, drain and let it cool so the potato fingers are dry. Fry the fingers in smoking hot oil. Take out after partially done. Fry in low flame after some time to make it crispy.

Girlfriends are coming over for sunday roast, want the day to be "just lovely."
What suggestions for either appetiser or desert for a chicken roast with roasted winter vegetables?
Want to impress them with "new found" culinary skills.
Thanks

I am looking for 2 cookie recipes...One is a soft chocolate cookie on the outside and has a coconut filling inside. It is almost shaped like a hershey's kiss after it is baked. The other is a soft chocolate cookie on the outside and has a peanut butter "suprise" filling inside. It is not the same as those peanut butter balls with the rice krispies in it and dipped in chocolate. It is actually a baked cookie. Thanks for your help!

This may sound odd, lol. I was flipping through channels yesterday and watched a segment on QVC and they were selling a 'cookie accessory.' I'd really like to buy one, but can't at all remember what it was called, nor the brand name. Maybe hoping someone here knows at least the name of the product.

It kinda reminded me a caulk gun. Handheld and battery operated. You put the cookie batter inside of it and you could place like a stencil at the opening. You press the button and the batter comes through the opening in the shape of the stencil. They also showed putting deviled eggs batter in it and even a cream cheese mixture to put into celery sticks.

Sorry this sounds so odd. I searched the website and came across nothing, but I'm fairly certain they can't be the only ones to sell them. And I can't be the only one to ever see one.

Thanks so much to anyone who can help.

My family LOVES asparagus and I usually either steam it with Hollendase sauce or roast it in a little olive oil. Anyone else know some creative ways to do aspragus as a side dish?

I use to make pepper salad using Progresso Pepper Salad in the tall jars. I have looked in alot of stores and can't find it anymore. It has green and red hot peppers. The peppers measure about 2-3 inches long. They are in olive oil with some seasoning ( maybe italian seasoning?). I add cubed sharp white cheddar cheese, black olives, pepperoni and let it marinate overnight with the pepper salad. If I could copy somewhat the ingredients in the jar of pepper salad would be great. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
