The bread is like a sweet bread, they are made small about three bites, they resemble a pizza pocket, but not made with a pizza dough

It looks like traditional fatayer(flatire?) use a spinach stuffing, but meat and other veggies are not uncommon replacements. The following seems to be a standard dough recipe.

Ajeen Fatayer (Savory Pie Dough)

Ingredients :

2 cup warm water
2 tbl sugar
1 pkt active dry yeast
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp salt
1 x egg
5 cup flour

Method :
Place water and sugar in large bowl. Add yeast, stirring gently.
Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Add oil, salt and egg. Fold in flour gradually. Depending on the brand of flour, use your judgement to decide if more or less water is required. Knead until all flour leaves the edges of the bowl and dough is smooth. Pat a little butter or oil over dough to prevent crusting. Cover with plastic sheet, then towel.

Let rest in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
Use as directed in recipes
