Maple Cream Cheese Icing
Icing
10 ounces cream cheese (such as Philadelphia), room temperature
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
12 walnut halves (for garnish)
For icing: Using electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar and beat at low speed until well blended. Beat in maple syrup. Chill until just firm enough to spread, 30 minutes.
Place 1 cake layer on platter. Spread with 3/4 cup icing. Top with second layer. Spread remaining icing over entire cake. Arrange walnut halves around top edge. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover with cake dome; chill. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving.)
WHITE CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE ICING
1 (12 oz.) package Wilton White Candy Melts or any white confectionery coating
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Melt Candy Melts according to directions. Allow coating to cool slightly, stirring occasionally (don't let it harden). In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese (preferably with a flat beater) until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in the cooled coating until blended and smooth. Beat in the butter and lemon juice. Smooth a small amount of icing on bottom cake layer; top side up. Top with second layer bottom side up. Frost cake with remaining icing. Refrigerate until ready to serve; bring to room temperature 30 minutes before serving.

Here you go! By the way, feel free to leave out the pecans if you don't want them in the icing. Ingredients: 115 g butter, softened 225 g cream cheese, softened 480 g confectioners' sugar 5 ml vanilla extract 120 g chopped pecans. Directions: In a medium bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stir in chopped pecans. Hope you like the Recipe!

If you are talking about cream cheese frosting it is real simple. Take a 3 oz package of cream cheese and add 2 tsp butter or margarine. Melt/heat in the microwave until smooth. Add confectionery powder by the 1/2 cup until the consistency you want. Add about 1 tbs milk and 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring at the same time. or add lemon flavoring instead of vanilla.
