I followed a recipe for simple candy. 1/4C butter, 1lb chocolate morsels and 1/4 peanut butter.
It's nothing but goo. So I tried adding some marshmallows melted. Still goo.
I want a semi-soft chocolate drop candy that will not stick to your fingers, but still chewy.
What do I do?

My friend calls it "white trash salad".... the person who makes it... I don't know if that's what it is really called. I recall it having ramen noodles, shredded lettuce and various veggies and dressing. Does anyone know what it's really called and does anyone have the recipie for it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What has worked best for you? This is my first time trying it and I was wondering if there was a common pan type to use for it. Thanks

My great grandmother used to make a holiday spice cake. The recipe involved COLD coffee (it wouldn't turn out right if the coffee wasn't cold). It also involved the entire mixture (I believe) being refrigerated over night prior to baking. Anyone have a recipe like this??

While we were partying on Hollywood Blvd in LA (Highlands Club), there were these hot dog/corn carts outside that had the BEST hot dogs wrapped in bacon, grilled and then topped with green peppers, onions and mayonnaise... but then. there was this CORN that had some mayonnaise on it as well! Can anyone think of a recipe for this? And please don't say grill corn and mayonnaise unless that is really it! Thanks!

My boyfriend is Guatamalan and Puerto Rican, and I've been invited to Thanksgiving at his house.

My boyfriend told me about how everyone would bring over meals to whomever's house the Thanksgiving is at... and, since I'm going...

... I'm figuring I should make something. Most likely a dessert...

... does anybody know any 150 minutes (2.5 hrs) or less desserts I could make, preferably with a Thanksgiving theme?

Thank you ahead of time for your help.

I have a 6.5 qt Toastess slow cooker, I have made a Hungarian Goulash and an African Boboti (with ground beef). Both recipes didn't call for any liquid, yet both came out bone dry and slightly burnt when I cooked it on the low setting. Am I supposed to add liquid even when the recipe doesn't call for it? How much liquid?
