Can not be creamed corn in nature. I would like a kernal corn recipe that uses frozen corn kernals.

Chope half a green pepper and half a red pepper and half large onion, 2 ribs celery chopped

Saute in a pan with half a stick of butter

2 small packages of frozen sweet corn niblet thawed partially or not
1/4 teaspoon sugar

Add to the sauteed peppers and onion - salt & pepper, simmer covered on medium heat for about 5 mins

Serve.

Scalloped Corn by All Recipes.

1 (15 ounce) can creamed corn
1 frozen corn kernels.
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 (8.5 ounce) package corn muffin mix
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Mix together corn, sour cream, eggs, melted butter or margarine, and sugar. Mix in muffin mix. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted midway into pan comes out clean. (I tried this recipe and it has 96 ratings) It is great!!!!!!!!!

CORN WITH CHEESE

1/2 stick of butter
1/2 onion chopped fine
1 pkg frozen niblets whole kernel corn
1/3 cup can chopped jalapeno peppers
2 oz. cream cheese, cut up
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, plus a little for garnish
salt and pepper to taste

Melt the butter over medium high heat, add the chopped onions and sautee until translucent. Add the corn and allow to cook for a 2 minutes. Add chopped jalapeno peppers and cook a few more minutes.
Next, add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and cook until the cheeses have melted. Be careful not to let the cheese burn. When serving, garnish with Parmesan cheese and a sprig of cilantro.

This dish can be served on the side.

Corn pudding..

1 can whole corn (drained) or 12 ounces frozen corn, cooked per package directions and drained
1 can of creamed corn
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
16 oz container of sour cream
1 package of corn muffin mix
1 cup cheddar cheese

Mix all together and bake in buttered casserole dish at 325 degrees until center sets.

This is pretty festive and unusual.

Baby Corn Melange
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup sliced green bell peppers, sliced into strips (i leave them out)
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes (dip in boiling water & peel 1st)
1/2 cup frozen corn kernels
3/4 cup sliced baby corn
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon unsalted shelled roasted peanuts (optional)
Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat and saute the onions for 3 to 5 minutes or until translucent.
Add bell peppers and saute for another couple of minutes.
Add tomatoes, frozen corn, baby corn, pepper, salt, cumin, oregano, and paprika; mix well, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes or until the veggies are done to your liking.
Uncover, remove from flame, garnish with roasted peanuts, if desired, and serve hot!

These are to die for,just triple up the batches for a crowd..

I have tried these and actually went to the Kapok Tree in Clearwater.Not there anymore...
