Start by checking the cooking directions for the time /pound and oven temperature to get the meat hot all the way through to the center. Then coat the ham with brown sugar-top and bottom, place sliced pineapple on the top and sides-holding them in place with round toothpicks, add a marchino cherry into the center of each pineapple slice as well as between the slices. Use a foil roaster or line roasting pan with foil for easier cleanup afterwards. Cover the ham with foil over the top and let cook the required time - uncover the last 30 minutes for the ham to get brown on the outside. This makea a delicious as well as a pretty presentation for the table.

If it's pre-cooked, then all you're really doing is re-heating it. Put it in the oven and bake until hot throughout.

HONEY MUSTARD HAM GLAZE
1 cup honey
1 cup yellow or spicy mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Baste ham with the glaze for the last half-hour of cooking time.

Get a nice spiral sliced ham and just bake it in the oven; if it has a glaze, use it. Serve it on a platter and let people take what they want. Spiral sliced hams are nice, and they're no-brainers to prepare. Just pop 'em in the oven.
