While we were partying on Hollywood Blvd in LA (Highlands Club), there were these hot dog/corn carts outside that had the BEST hot dogs wrapped in bacon, grilled and then topped with green peppers, onions and mayonnaise... but then. there was this CORN that had some mayonnaise on it as well! Can anyone think of a recipe for this? And please don't say grill corn and mayonnaise unless that is really it! Thanks!

Paula Deen had a recipe similar to what you're talking about.

It's mayo and parm cheese.

Hope this is what you're looking for.

I'll give you what I have - maybe you can tweak them...

"Cheese Boats" - 5 servings

Split 1 lb. frankfurters lengthwise, not cutting completely through. Place a strip of sharp process cheese, 2x1/2x1/4", into cut of each frankfurter. Wrap each with slice of bacon; secure with wooden picks.
Place cut-side down on rack in broiler pan. Set oven control at broil and/or 550*. Broil 5" from heat about 15 minutes, turning when bacon is crisp.

"Creamy Onion Dressing" - 1 1/4 cups

Mix 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing, 1/2 cup sour cream and 2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion (scallions). Cover; refrigerate at least 4 hours to blend flavors.

Could your 'mayonnaise' have been this instead?

"Green Goddess Dressing" - 2 cups

1 clove garlic; crushed
3 tbsp. anchovy paste or finely chopped anchovy fillets
3 tbsp. finely snipped chives
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. tarragon wine vinegar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/3 cup finely snipped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Mix all ingredients; cover and chill.
