Hi, I am coking the green bean casserole for Thanksgiving, and the recipe I want to serve is based on 6 servings, and I need 12 servings, so obviously the ingredients are doubled.
The question I have, is how long to bake it?
The recipe is as follows:
MIX soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.

BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot.

STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min.

So, since I am doing this double, how should the baking go??

Thank you sooooooo much!!
P.S. have a great Thanksgiving!!

I need to relieve some stress of the holidays starting. What's the worst cooking mishap you've had while trying to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table?

Last year we made Cornish game hens, and at the last minute got called to my family's house. We turned the oven off, and forgot about them for 5 days. You really don't want to see maggots in your oven...trust me.

For thanksgiving I'm thinking of making a blueberry pie or blueberry cobbler. Which is better, and something that I probably won't mess up. I've never cooked either ofthem. Unless you think peach cobbler is better. Help! If you have a recipe attach it! THanks!!

I'm having a problem with my tap water. I have a water filter and when I pour the water into a pot it looks fine. But when it starts to boil there look like there is a oil film on top of the water. I have tried washing the pot numerous times, but it always comes back. Any ideas of what it could be?

I'm suppose to go to my boyfriend's house for thanksgiving. He wants me to cook chicken and dumplings which is pretty much the only thing I know how to cook LOL. But I'm wondering - is it okay to have another meat other than turkey at a thanksgiving dinner? I also want to make something else. I can't decide if I want to make peach cobbler, apple pie or blueberry pie (m boyfriend wants blueberry cause he says apple is boring) just give me your thoughts! Thanks!

Does anyone have a recipe for cranberry sauce/relish like Bob Evans? I know theirs has an orange flavor--maybe zest or juice and I know their berries are sliced and it isn't jellied. Any recipies are welcome!
