Hi, I am coking the green bean casserole for Thanksgiving, and the recipe I want to serve is based on 6 servings, and I need 12 servings, so obviously the ingredients are doubled.
The question I have, is how long to bake it?
The recipe is as follows:
MIX soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.

BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot.

STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min.

So, since I am doing this double, how should the baking go??

Thank you sooooooo much!!
P.S. have a great Thanksgiving!!

At baking the same time, is it ok if I have 2 dishes in the oven at the same time? and if so, then does it need to be longer?
Thanks =]

You can cook more than one dish in an oven at the same time without worrying about changing the timing, it's a microwave you have to watch out for when adding items.

I would cook the casserole for the same amount of time and check it before you put the onions on to make sure it's hot all the way through. When it is, put the onions on and just do the 5 minute bake and you should be just fine.

all of them. it is likewise possible to cook dinner the turkey the day till now and then rewarm it. hundreds of thousands of human beings purchase an already cooked turkey from the food market or a deli and purely warmth it up on Thanksgiving day. something of the dishes flow in the oven with the turkey, nicely lined with aluminum foil, to heat up besides. inspite of the undeniable fact that, you ought to do issues like leave the marshmallows off the candy potato casserole till it rather is rewarmed, then once you're taking the turkey out, take place the over, upload the marshmallows and cook dinner till they're browned and bubbly.

I'd probably only add 5 minutes or so and just check to be sure it is hot in the center and looks appropriate. You have to realize, you aren't really "cooking" anything in it, just heating it, because any of those ingredients can be eaten right out of the can without cooking or heating ... so you can't really go wrong.

Until its hot. You are not really cooking anything but reheating precooked items.
If your pan is the same thickness the 25 minutes should work if it is deeper add 10 - 20 minutes. Just keep checking it so it doesn't burn :-)
