A good friend is over for dinner and every time he is over we end up ordering pizza as all my recipies seem to use onion and/or garlic and they don't taste as good without. Meat and veg roasts are out as I am a vegetarian. It's so hard to find store bought saucces without onion or garlic (and I am shopping online anyway so can't check).

I would like to cook a nice, fairly straightforward vegetarian dish for him that doesn't contain onion or garlic. Any ideas?

Hello cookie connoisseurs,

I have to confess. I just made a batch of chocolate cookies that tasted like sumo wrestler's sweaty behind. If you want proof, I'll send some samples to you.

Anyway, how do I bake proper soft chewy cookies? I'm no Martha Steward type so please explain it easy to me.

I thank you for your time.

I need a Honey Cake recipe for my Son's fist birthday. I'm not sure why it must be honey cake, but it must. Problem is that I need a recipe that doesn't include nuts, coffe, liquor or anything else thats potentially bad for a small child, aside from honey itself which he will be able to eat by that time.

Any recipes come to mind? They don't have to be perfect, just need something to start with.

it's pretty clear with a yellow tint and normally has a mushroom slice in it.

Really the question is about the instant pie crust. It says "wrap excess top crust under bottom crust edge, and i get that, but then it says press edges together to seal; flute. What the heck does flute mean??

Tomato paste tastes processed and cooked to me. Simple marinara made from fresh ingredients is yummy. But, this is for pizza -- I want a lot of flavour and little liquid. Stuff starts sliding around with too much...

Suggestions? Do I need to try a better brand of tomato paste? Which ones are good?

im really sick of marinara and alfredo! also, i'm a vegetarian. at the grocery store, it seems that theres only marinara and alfredo, and variations thereof... at restaurants ive had like a sun dried tomato chedder sauce and a cajun cream sauce on my pasta...

im only 19, i cant really cook... are there more unique sauces that come in jars at the grocery store? or can someone teach me how to cook the sauces?? thanks!

We don't drink red wine but a friend came over yesterday with a bottle and had half a glass, then she left the rest with us. Rather than throw it out I made Beef Stroganoff for dinner and added some red wine and I will make spaghetti bolognaise tonight. But I will still have half a bottle. Any one have any fantastic ideas???

Does anyone have a good soft cookie recipe. I never bake cookies so you'll have to be specific. Looking towards banana flavor or cinnamon also information on how to decorate them for Christmas would greatly be appreciated

It is just the cow head, it's black and white and the cow kinda looks likes he's rolling his eyes. If anyone knows who makes them or how I can get one I'd appreciate any information. Thanks
