I asked the question about finding a substitution for oil to make brownies. Well many have replied telling me to use butter, but no one told how much is equivalent.

Any ideas, I need 1/2 cup of oil. How much butter do I melt?

I don't have applesuace.

The one I am looking for uses powdered sugar, not granulated and has no eggs... I have misplaced mine!! This is a great cookie for decorating as it holds its shape perfectly! I must have misplaced it when I moved.

Okay so i dont know how to make chili!!!
my mom made it a coulpe days ago and i would ask her but she is out of town.
all i know is she said something about texas beans and they were simmering all day.
i know you have to add something else but i dont know what.
i know she also added cheese.
and i dont have to worry about adding the meat because im a vegetarian.
all i know is my mom made some good chili!!!!!!
