no indeed! it has been cured w/ spices... that's why it's still red.

Deli meats are cooked... but you can buy a raw corned beef brisket at a supermarket or butcher shop to prepare to your liking.

99.9% of Deli counter meats are processed and cured either by chemicals and spices, or cooked and or smoked meats. Very rare to find raw meats in a deli counter.
