I always put a bottle of beer in mine...then let it cook out until it is the correct thickness.

you could either add beer as a new ingrediet or use it as a substitute for some of the liquid...you really cant make a mistake and it tastes so so so good...Corona is good, but even a plain old miller lite is good too!!

I also find that using ground turkey instead of beef makes for a different flavor.

Also, try buying a can of chipotle chilies in adobo in the mexican section and cut them up...smokey flavor!!

Look online, Rachel Ray once made this recipe for Chipotle Chili and I made it for my family and they loved it, it is totally different than out traditional Chili that we have once a month. Google it.

There are so many books out there to read, that I rarely reread even books I love. For one thing, if I already know what's going to happen, it gets boring for me. I have a few favorites that I reread over and over again every few years. I've been doing this with A Wrinkle in Time ever since I first read it as a child. Probably I've read it more than a dozen times. My favorite book, The Bloody Sun - probably I've read that as much or more. If I've forgotten what a book is about but remember that I liked it, then I sometimes reread it.

Add some curry powder, or other spices that are normally not in the chili. If you like it hot, add some peppers, maybe habeneros, if you like it sweet, add some corn and ripe cherry tomatoes. You can also mix and match hot and sweet for another new taste.

Not too sure what part of the country you are in, but you may want to try adding some cinnamon. Not a lot, maybe a tablespoon per 6 quart batch. Try it with a bowl of your already made chili, just add a few dashes. Hope that helps

Try cutting back the spices you use (I am assuming you are making your own chili) and add canned diced green chilis (not jalepenos) they have a nice flavor without adding a lot of heat.
I love adding red bell peppers and a can of corn...nice nutrition, nice flavor.

Chili Verde sauce will change the flavor and not make it hot. It comes in mild, hot and omg. I like the Herdez brand. I just dump in the bottle of it while mine is simmering, changes it a lot.

I don't know what you're starting with, but adding a little sugar takes some of the sting out. you could put in a whole peeled potato. It will absorb seasoning but it has to soak in there for a while
