I have all the ingredients except for buttermilk and I really want to make it. I also am out of vinager and lemon juice to add to the milk in place of the buttermilk. Does anyone know if using milk will ruin it or will it still be good to eat?
Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience with these or has tried either of the two? I read the specs but I do not know which to get. I got my bf a grill last Christmas (some people may think its weird but he loved it). I was looking at getting this for my dad and/or my bf (along w something else). Any help would be appreciated!!

I want to make some caramel truffles with a hard chocolate shell for some friends for the holidays. I've already found some good recipes for the tempered chocolate shell, but I'm lost at finding anything for a good, dense caramel ganache. Any suggestions?

I'm on a tight budget and have found out that millet is one of the good foods that I can eat (special diet, long story). What can you do with millet, and is it nice?

I'm interested in buying a rice cooker. We eat a meal with rice about two times a week. From what I've read so far,'non-stick' is advisable, perhaps 'automatic shutoff', 'keep warm' also a good idea. I'm looking for no-fuss, perfect rice every time, best buy.

My son is allergic to just about everything possible. Some cake ingredients that i can think of off the top of my head would be- eggs, milk, peanuts, soy, cherries, pinneapples. Last year we found a recipe for chocolate cocoa cake with a melted marshmellow topping. It was good, but it wasn't the best. I hear about cakes and brownies made with Coke. Is there a good recipe out there without one of the listed ingredients that i could make. His Birthday was yesterday and we are celebrating it tomorrow so i need to hurry
