Help please! I promised my three girls we would make cookies today and my brown sugar is kind of hard....does anyone know how I might soften it? (I don't have any way to just run to the store and get more right now)

Thanks in advance!

I want to buy some cheese which I am going to shred to put in a stuffed mushroom recipe. Since it's pretty expensive and I don't want to waste money, how much of a block of cheese should I buy to make two cups shredded? It has a cheddar-like texture, if that helps.

I'm about to go to my local grocery store and look for it. What should I be looking for? Will it be in a cardboard box? Will it be solid or powdered?
Help, please :)

It's been years since I've had this. It's cranberries which were chopped, but not pureed. I think it might have had orange in it. Then marshmallows and a tub of Cool Whip.

I'd like to make it for Friday, and the internet isn't helping me find a recipe. Does anyone know how to make cranberry fluff?
