Any ideas? I think the Newcastle Beer® part was my own added touch; but the recipe called for brining the turkey overnight before cooking, and adding red wine to it every 1/2 hour or so in the oven. There was rosemary and whole peppercorns, maybe some sage, and a lot of other spices that made it absolutely fabulous. Does anyone have any recipe that's similar--or any idea as to where I can find this recipe again? (I found it on the Internet two years ago, and wrote it down, but alas!--during my move from Boston back to LA, the recipe got lost or thrown out.)

Does it taste as good as roasting it without one? I want the most delicious traditional Thanksgiving turkey possible. Cooking bag or no cooking bag? Your opinion please.

Had this dish at a community event years ago. Sweet potato was cooked, mashed up and placed in the bottom of a baking dish and topped with pecans. Not an overly sweet dish. Looking for recipe.

I'm looking for a site that has a large database of recipes and information about cooking. It would also be nice if it had like a message board and stuff too. I know there's Yahoo! Food and their partners that supply recipes but i just don't like yahoo's set-up.

I have a mix for Jell-O, and a very nice metal mould. How do I go about preparing the mould, so that the shape will come out just as perfectly wobbly and shaped like the mould? Cling film? If so then how? Thanks!

I went to my husbands work party today (lots of people so I could not get the recipe from the person who made them) and I had some yams that where out of this world. They where sooooo sweet and good. I'm pretty sure it was due to the brown suger. They also had marshmellows. I make yams with brown suger and marshmellows but they never tast as good as these did. Does anyone have a recipe that tast really sweet.

Do you fix it the classic way with cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions on top like I do or do you have a different way of fixing it?
