the glaze off of a saute pan easily? I was just making peppered steak today, and it left a residue on it from the dried out sunflower seed oil? I have heard that brandy works, is that true?

I am looking for a recipe for something that can be made a couple of days ahead for my boyfriend's family's Thanksgiving potluck dinner. I would like to bring something that is delicious and a bit off the beaten path of green bean casserole and sweet potatoes. Any ideas?

I went to a PC party 2 years ago and the host made a delish recipe with pumpkin, few spices, i think condensed milk, and a few other things and served it with apple slices and cinnamon triangles made from pie shell dough and cinna/sugar. I made it last year and lost the recipe. I've searched the net but could only find similar ones that are served chilled. The one I'm looking for is heated in the oven for a bit and served warm. I hope someone can help. I loved this dip. It was easy and sooo yummy!

When I was a kid my mom used to make the most awesome dish of romanoff noodles. It's like a Russian (I think) pasta-type dish with a cheese sause and it has parsley, dried parmesan, and other yummy stuff mixed in. Anyhow, I've found a few different recipes but none of them were all that good. So, does anyone know a GREAT recipe for making romanoff?

I recently bought a 14 pound Turkey, and It has been thawing for 4 days, it's ready to cook. But something came up and It looks like I'm going to have to let it sit in the fridge, because of other crap I have to do, for 3 or 4 more days. Is the Turkey going to be Safe to Eat when i finally do cook it 3 or 4 days from now? Are there any sites out there I can check That would have That specific type of Information? Any help would be appreciated.

My Greek mother-in-law makes a stuffing (not stuffed in the turkey) at Thanksgiving and New Years. It has ground beef, rice, water chestnuts and walnuts I think, with a wonderful cinnamon flavor. Would really appreciate it if anyone could check with their greek relative or friends. I do not know what the greek name is for it though. Thanks for any help you can give. Happy holidays!!

and then reheat it in the oven? I don't want it to be soggy. My husband, who is a better cook, thinks the oven will make it more crispy and that sogginess won't be a problem.

We are going to a friend's for Thanksgiving, and I am to bring mashed potatoes. Wondering if I can do the mashing at home and put in a serving bowl to be served maybe 2 hours later? Would love to not have to use my friend's kitchen to do the mashing, but I have always mashed them right before eating. Has anyone ever done this? Was thinking of reheating in the microwave....Thanks for any help on this.
