PBJ with all sorts of variations such as:
banana instead of jelly
honey instead of jelly.,,but the honey HAS to be on the bread to make it a little crunchy
add potato chips in the middle
omit the jelly and put some salami and lettuce on it
sprinkle it with anchovies (just a couple torn into bits)
butter on the bread on one side a PB in the middle and honey on the other slice
omit jelly and put some ketchup on it....YUMMY...try it but only if you have chips on the side
THANKS FOR ASKING

That's a hard one. I'd say it's a tie between the muffalata, a favourite of New Orleanians, and the hoagy, a Philly sandwich.
But if you count pita stuffed with lamb and that wonderful white sauce I can't remember what they call it, then that's a tie too, or maybe that beats the other two.
I haven't even tried the Dagwood sandwiches. I hear the comic strip artist has started his own restaurant. Or is that a franchise?

No. As a baby, I cherished Sunbeam white bread with affordable spiced ham lunch meat. i'm particular there wasn't a splash ham in it. If I had some in the present day, i could feed it to the canine -- if he'd devour it. i admire BLTs, yet my low sodium nutrition plan would not enable me to devour them. (i'm going to cheat if I smell 1st Baron Verulam.) presently, my sandwiches have been low-sodium turkey pastrami. i like it, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it won't be able to verify to 1st Baron Verulam. I additionally like tuna salad and fowl salad on toast, and that i admire Steak & Shake's Portabello & Swiss burgers.

Grilled portobello with carmalized onions and boursin cheese, it also has a layer of torn arugula liberally tossed with balsamic vinaigrette. All this on rosemary bread with sundried tomatoes baked in.
It's even more satisfying if you make everything yourself, even the bread... which I did because I had to. Having chef over my shoulder the whole time made it stressfull, so just enjoy yourself.

Two slices of sourdough bread with light mayo, deli ham and a ton of romaine lettuce. It's like eating a salad and sandwich at the same time and what a crunch.

Pumpernickel or sourdough bread, a little light Philadelphia spread, shredded carrot, lettuce and beetroot, tuna (which has been flaked and mixed with a little light mayonnaise and a good squeeze of lime juice), wholegrain mustard, a little salt and a good dusting of cracked pepper.
Oh man, my mouth is watering just thinking about it...

I like turkey sandwiches too with Miracle Whip and slices of tomato.
I also like left over meatloaf and ketchup sandwiches and
I also like American cheese slices with Miracle Whip and lettuce.
All these sandwiches on white bread.
