I recently bought a 14 pound Turkey, and It has been thawing for 4 days, it's ready to cook. But something came up and It looks like I'm going to have to let it sit in the fridge, because of other crap I have to do, for 3 or 4 more days. Is the Turkey going to be Safe to Eat when i finally do cook it 3 or 4 days from now? Are there any sites out there I can check That would have That specific type of Information? Any help would be appreciated.

Cook it. Never refreeze thawed meat.

you are able to thaw it in a sink or bucket crammed with heat water. You reallt shouldn't enable it take a seat out of refridgeration although. this is the way you contract Salmenela. in case you have an ice chest or somrthing i might oput it in there with some chilly packs or extra helpful yet make room on your refrigerator for the turkey and positioned your different products in the ice chest. good success

No! Cook it, then refrigerate it cooked. Or offer it to a neighbor to use up adn take their still-frozen one.
