Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Mix
flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
2 In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar
until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then
stir in the vanilla. Mix in the dry ingredients until well
blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Roll the
dough into 2 inch balls and place them 3 inches apart onto
ungreased cookie sheets.
3 Bake for 20 to 23 minutes in the preheated oven. allow
cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before
removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Chinese Chip Cookies
the chowmein noodles add a nice "crunch" to this cookie..sometimes I use butterscotch chips instead of chocolate..when measuring the chow mein noodles..I just slightly break then into a little shorter pieces..then measure..
3 dozen 25 min 15 min prep
Change to: dozen US Metric
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal, not instant
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chow mein noodles
1/2 cup pecans, toasted, chopped

< 30 mins Drop Cookies
cream butter and sugars, add eggs one at a time, mix well.
combine dry ingredients and blend inches.
stir in chocolate chips and chow mein noodles that have been slightly broken into smaller pieces.
drop by tspful on lightly greased cookie sheet.
bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
remove to racks to cool.

The recipe for cookies is great on the toll house bag of chocolate chips. Ive tried other ones but that is the all time favorite!

DIRECTIONS:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
2.In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
3.Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

foodnetwork.com, also use brown sugar, it makes the cookie softer and chewy and unbake it like 10 mins, yummy
