Changing my name after our wedding seems like kind of a pain in the butt, and I've seen quite a few bridal name change kits online. Are they worth it? Which one is the best one for its cost?

I have a second cousin who had a baby last year who she insists on taking everywhere. The wedding invitation was clearly addressed to my cousin ONLY on the inner and outer envelopes. She has since mentioned that she will be bringing the baby to the wedding. There are no other children invited, although I did not put "Adult Only" reception on the invites because it is considered poor taste. Any advice on how I can casually and politely tell her that her baby is not welcome at my wedding?

Been together for 9 years and engaged for 7. We planned 3 weddings and each time the date would get closer someone (not always him) would cause us to reschedule. We are not currently planning anything and I am starting to feel like being married is not what he wants anyway. He keeps saying that he is waiting to have that "dream wedding" and he needs to save for it. But I don't really care at all about a big wedding. He does however. So I am wondering is he serious or just playing with me? Should I just get on with my life. We are still young, but I am not getting any younger and I want to have babies soon. which again, he doesn't want until he has lots of $$$. Help. Advice?

My fiancee and I decided we would rather stay in the US for a honeymoon, and save money for our new house instead of an all out cruise or caribbean vacation.

We are going to treat ourselves to a second honeymoon somewhere awesome on our 10th anniversary.

Any suggestions on afforable, yet romantic and fun honeymoons that we could do in the states, or abroad-but with low budget in mind?

Thanks!

We are attending a reception this Saturday. It is outdoors at a park, so I was thinking sundress, but the time is evening where I would normally wear semi-formal cocktail attire. Invitation only indicates Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing beginning at 5. Wording is a hybrid between formal and informal, so that is no help. It's a friend of my husband, so I have no idea what their families' events are like, and hubby's eyes glaze over when I try to ask about the differences in attire. What do you think...

White and red floral print sundress with pearls and pumps to dress it up?
-or-
Black cocktail dress with silver jewelry and sandals to dress it down.

im getting married in 3 months. surely i am having bridal showers, right? well, my friend got married in february and i gave her a shower, but she has not mentioned giving me one. my aunt gave my sister one, but hasnt mentioned giving me one. my moms best friend also gave my sister one. but still no word on if im getting one. should i worry about it? am i selfish? i want to have one. i think its fun and very helpful to a couple just starting out. it kinda hurts my feelings though to think that i may not have anyone to give me one.

I am getting married later this year and we are both Christians and aren't going to have a dance, just the dinner and reception. I am having trouble coming up with ideas for my reception which don't involve a group or DJ.

Just a thumbnail, I thought I had deleted it, but I'm not so hot on computers! He didn't really look, but I'm so dissappointed, do you think it matters, and is it bad luck?

I'm having a dessert and dance reception, there will be alcohol but we need good music to get people moving. 80's and 90's is good. Contemporary dance music is cool but I don't want my grandparents to hear a lot of cursing. I don't mind the obligatory "cha-cha" song, or chicken dance whatever. Maybe some good oldies - i want to see grandma bust a move.

Hi all! You've helped me before so here I am again. :)
My wedding colors are Azalea and Blue Velvet (bridesmaid dresses are from David's Bridal in those colors) and my accent color is silver. I have 4 bridesmaids and we have 4 groomsmen (this does include Matron of Honor and Best Man). My girls are wearing the same dress but two in Azalea and two are in the Blue velvet. The groomsmen will be wearing the matching vest of the girl's dress they are walking with. On the top of my dress there is silver lace etching so my fiance will be wearing a silver vest to match me.
We are trying to not go too expensive and I definitely would like fresh flowers.
I am meeting with the florist on Saturday and would just like to go in with some kind of idea of what could be in my budget.
Any ideas for those colors would be greatly appreciated!

Long story short, I'm supposed to be married 7/21/07 I swear, ever since the day those invitations went in the mail me "fiance" has been making me hate him. He's been sneaking out to bars with his friends then he planned his friend (who I hate), his bachelor party on my fiance's birthday (our first married one together) then he's making me go the wedding of this guy I hate on my 30th. He's been lying and drinking all the time and he's acting like no one matters but his friends and I always come last. My bridal shower is on Saturday and I'd rather die than go at this point. I have no clue what I should do about this wedding. He's making me feel lower than dirt. Is it me? should I put up with this or am I just being overly sensitive and selfish? advice, please. Thanks a lot.

I'm trying to finalize the plans for my wedding flowers. I started to think about how many other people outside of the wedding party should be recognized (like sisters and brothers for example) and I was thinking about getting flowers for them. I started to think that maybe it would be a good idea money-wise if I ordered those flowers in a seperate order from somewhere else like Jewel. I would really appreciate some opinions on the matter and advice if any. Real answers please:) thank you.

We have arranged for someone to "act" as a bar tender to keep an eye on the things with alcohol. Is this enough?

I was told that we have to have a party or an event licence to have even champaign at the reception. Can anyone give me some real information?

Please real Answers and not some of these shmucks that just want points.
