revealed directly or indirectly by your beloved one?

I have known this girl since we both were in high school, we are now both graduated from college. I dated her cousin but we are not together any longer since beginning of our college years. Now the girl used to date this guy and we all used to hang out, but not any longer. The girl was going to get married to this guy and they had a child together which is now 10 years old, but they haven't been together since their son was 3 years old, due to the girl being dirty and saying if he doesn't buy me a platinum ring I will not marry him. I told her that it shouldn't matter how much the ring cost do you love him? Anyway me and the guy hooked up together, because we used to talk before about our partners about what we don't like about them, and we now have a 2 year old daughter and are planning on getting married this year. I called and apologize to this girl because it was really bothering me that I did this to her, but I can't take what I did back. Is there anything else I should say or do?

My fiance and I have never had any close friends, just us all through school. If I had bridesmaids, they would be my cousins that I never see and they haven't really even known me during my relationship with him.
So since we have a cute little ring bearer and a flower girl do we need anything else?
Any suggestions on how to go about the actual wedding part (which will take place outside) without "attendants" in the line up? I don't want people to think we have no friends! We're nice people!

I feel that his best friend whom he grew up with would be more appropriate. Also, his dad is just now finally accepting me as "good enough" for his son after five years. He is nice to me but before my fiance had made it clear by having a talk with him, he thought that my fiance was making a bad decision w/o really knowing me.

I went to check out the couples bridal registry at a local store and they did not have things like sheets, coffee pots and the colors of their rooms. They had expensive gifts such as digital camera's and all kinds of electronics. Computer games and espensive carpentry tools.
I felt almost ridiculous looking at gift registry for them . Is this normal way to register or is this couple trying to make a haul? They already have a child and have been together for many years. I didnt expect to see all that high end stuff on the registry. I was expecting something more simple.
Am I old fashioned or are they getting a little greedy?

After some hesitation, and deal making (lowering the amount of people from 60 to 20), I've decided to throw a baccalaureate party and a bridal shower for my brothers evil fiance. At the bridal shower we are going to play "grandma friendly" games, and at the baccalaureate party we are going to play some of the not-so-grandma-friendly games. I googled it already, but I haven't had any luck. Can anyone tell me where I can get some FREE printable games for a bridal shower and a baccalaureate party?

Okay so my boyfriend is wanting to to buy an engagement ring..i have it picked out and everything..its not that expensive but i was wondering the best way for him to buy it...get a credit card and buy it...or the "lay away" type thing where he pays whatever he wants each month while it stays with them...or depending on his credit he puts so much down and they give him payments each month..or does anyone else know a better way? please help..

My daughters husband is a dreamer: goes from one job to another. He finally drove them into financial ruin by trying to operate a house gutter business. My husband & I have been buying groceries & paying some bills for them over the last year. They lost their health insurance & have 2 sons, one with diabetes & one with asthma. My son-in-law has ticked a lot of people off by not showing up for jobs & is being sued. He is not a nice person but seems to think the world owes him a living. We help our daughter & grandsons because it's not their fault but have got to the stage where we think we're enabling him by giving them money. It's gotten as far as having to co-sign for our daughters car so she can get to work.
The S-I-L has now got a restaurant job but they are still in debt & talking about bankruptcy (again).
We have an unexpected bill ourselves this month & would like to get some money back (the $500 we lent him to buy a truck when his got re-possessed would be nice).

I know she has a few rings lying around... Would they have a size number written on the back of the ring? Should I just "borrow" one and take it to the jeweler for sizing?

I will have 2 flower girls and 2 ring bearers in my wedding. My question is my fiance will have a black suit black shirt w/ white vest/tie and so will one ring bearer. the groomsmens will have black on black w/ red tie/vest and so wil lthe other ringbearer. the flower girls will have a dress closely matching mine theirs is also white but theyll wear a red sash so it doesnt seem like too much. Is that lame? He said about theyll look like a miniture bride and groom. I thought it was cute. At least its cute in those pics of kids dressed up as brides and grooms..would it not b so cute in real life?
also we will have a smaller wedding of around 150-200 guests.
what r ur thoughts of having an usher to help seat the guests (there will only b a moh and bridesmaid...best man and groomsmen) the reson for 2 flower girls and ringbears is i have 2 neices and a nephew he has a nephew and we tried but we just cant choose between them theyll all b so precious dressed up!!
