My fiancee and I are getting married at Cocoa Beach in FL in two weeks. We booked our package through a coordinator online. It was about $500. We will have an officiant and a photographer. Do we tip them? And if so, how much?

I just popped the question to my girlfriend of over 2 years. I have planned to propose in May for the past 5 months however my fiance's sister has been more vocal about "wanting" to get married and I think it's a subliminal message for me saying "you better not get engaged before me" or a "backoff" so to speak. I proposed because it was the right time for me and my girlfriend and I'm not going to put my plans on hold for anything or anyone. The problem is, my fiance and her sister work together and my poor fiance has been crying due to the nasty things and bad attitude of her sister towards both me and my fiance due to jealousy. It's sad when your own blood says to her sister, "you better not ask me to be your bride's maid"...just to name one of them...not to mention she was rude and hung up on me when I tried to calmly talk some sense into her....
I think my fiances sister is making a fool of herself all on her own but I am very upset she is ruining it for us. please help!

I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months and it's like we knew each other for years now. We always agree on stuff and we love each other so much. He loves my 3 yr old son too(Not his son!). Last month he asked me if i want to marry him and i said i want to think about it. he said he was sure about his decision because he doesn't want to lose me since I'm leaving for Canada next month. He wants us to get married before I leave. Should i say Yes? I have the fear of losing him too if I'd say no. But I'm still confused. What should I do? 60% of me wants to say yes!

I love a girl who is older then me by 11 months. She also loves me a lot.But her parents are not supporting our relationship because of this age factor.Since I am from India and in my country usually Boy should be older then the girl he is marrying. Now Since her parent had raised this age issue so even she is in dual
mind about our relationship. She is afraid that we may have to face some personal problems in our relationship because of this age factor.I just wanted to know is there is any such issue related to age that might creep into our lives if we marry each other.I am pretty confident that she will be happy with me but she is not able to decide.
Does age really matter if two person's love and understand each other and can keep on well with each other. Is the age gap of 1 year really significant?
I would also like to mention that presently she is 26 and i m 25 years old.
Answers from Indians would be really helpful as they would understand our culture.Others views will also b helful

My cousin asked my sister and I a week ago to be in her early August wedding... this summer. It was a very last minute offering considering she asked all of her other bridesmaids months ago. I am a sophomore in college (which I am paying for myself) and I just found out the dresses are almost $400. I am really tight on money, and I don't know if I can afford it, as much as I want to. I really want to be there for my cousin on her special day... but on such short notice, the money is hard to come up with it. Would the more appropriate thing to do be to withdraw from the wedding party, or should I tell her I don't have enough money and see where it goes from there? I am at a loss of what to do... any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

When I was married 2 years ago, my husbands brothers or sister attended our wedding. One was working and the other ? Now the brother is getting married and his fiance has asked me to be the Matron of honor because I introduced them. To my understanding, they do not have any issues with me. They had ample time to prepare for our wedding but I feel like it just wasnt important to them. Why should I break my back or spend my money for his wedding?

Someone once told me good women marry jerks, because they have to balance each other out.

I know of 4 couples, where the women are good and hold the marriage, and the guys are jerks.

In another marriage the guy is super good but the wife is : no further comment........

Are you looking for caterers, florists, photographers, planners, invitations, dresses, tuxes, accessories, rentals, designers, lighting, etc. Which ones do you gravitate towards first? What's the most important to you? What's the least important?

I've been at my current job for 4 months, and I'm getting married next September. I've begun the preliminary planning stuff, and some of the girls I work with have given me really helpful advice about the wedding. We're looking at between 125-150 people coming to the wedding so far (big families) and we're trying to keep the guest list as short as possible. What's the polite thing to do in this situation? Do I invite all 13 people I work with, plus dates? Or exclude my office all together? And, should we invite my fiance's co-workers too?

I need some unique ideas for decorations for an outdoor reception in my back yard. It will be held in the evening, and it is just a small group of people, approximately 45-50. This is for my daughters wedding.

I think that the number should be limited to 4 or 5, I thought the idea was to ask close friends and or family. Now I feel obligated to just ask someone to have an eqaul number. Not to mention that she has told me that she feels "obligated to ask" all of these cousins of hers etc. Again, I don't feel that there should be an obligation, but rather only people you truly want.

My fiance and I don't really keep in touch with our friends anymore because either they still want to party like rockstars, or they are married and too busy for us. Also, our sisters/brothers are all married with too many kids!! It would be too much on them. I also thought you had to have a bridal party for the witnessing of documents.
