I am 28, doing reasonably in my career, make a decent 35-40 k. I am good looking too. I believe it's the right time to find a girl for myself, but on the other hand i think that in my case, i am in a position, where i know that if i give my career another 6 months to a year, i would be in a much much better position financially and professionally.

I am thinking of putting up a profile on a matrimonial website.

I would like to have an idea about what would be the ideal age - range of the girls who would be interested in my profile?

Your own personal opinions are definitely welcome.

Any advantages or disadvantages, if i wait for another year for marriage. I'll turn 29 by that time.

I am Just curious if anyone has met some people from online or had an online boyfrined or girlfriend before.I had an online boyfriend & he move from Texas to Pennsylvania & we are married :-) It would probably bore you if I said how this came about.Anyway I have met two people on here. One was nice & everyone wanted me to go out with him cause he lived an hour away from me but I only liked him as a friend. Then I met My husband we had sent pictures over the computer & we decided to meet. Ok I will tell you.we met online on a program called Firetalk Which after I started talking to him it didn't exsit anymore. We talked on the internet for hours & the first time he called me was when 9/11 went on.He thought maybe a plan had went down near me or something & wanted to know if I was alright. He came up April for my birthday 2002,Then August 2002 & Ended up staying.Got Married June 14th 2003.Theres more too the story but I only get so much to right.Yeah I know sounds boring but oh well :-p

i am getting married next month but feel strangely flat about it. at times i feel so scared and am worried that i am making another mistake. I have been living with partner for 2 and half years so it is not as if i dont know him.

This is my second marriage the first was abusive and violent, my fiancee never even raises his voice and is great with my son who is disabled. (better than his father actually).
I get scared that after the marriage he will change and turn nasty but i am not sure where that comes from.
I am also having probs with my ex who gets at me through the children and they wont visit me at home beause they are scared of what my ex will say. My youngest son who lives with us is scared to tell his dad about the wedding becasue he makes him feel bad and guilty for talking to my partner.
What do you think, i dont want to hurt my son but also dont want to hurt my partner

My partner & I are getting married soon & are having a party to celebrate. We want to invite some people that we get along with really well but dont really know them well enough to have at out wedding.
I know most people say its your day, do what you want (as I say the same thing!!) but I am just concerned about offending people by not inviting them to our actual wedding, just the party.
How would you feel if you were invited to the engagement party of people you like but dont know all that well (newly found friendships) but realised you wernt invited to the wedding. Money restricts us from inviting too many people & aside from that I dont know all these people that well...just dont want to hurt their feelings cause we get along great!! We are asking that nobody buys us gifts so its not like we just want presents!!
Thanks in advance for your answers ;o) Appreciated muchly!!

Ok..so...My dad died when I was little! My mom was a single parent for a long time..then got remarried! I'm getting married in September and I have no idea who should walk me?! I don't get along with my step-father, I had always thought that I would ask my Uncle (he never had any children and it would mean alot to him) When I told my mom she mad eit clear it would hurt my step-dads feelings, I then considered asking my mom to do it...because she was was my only parent growing up...but I dont think she would want to...she just wants to be the Mother of the Bride and be seated and all that stuff....so who should do it?!

I am looking for ideas for centerpieces for my Wedding reception.
I don't want to do flowers, candles or fish in a bowl because they are overdone. I am also looking for ideas that the guests can later take home, so I am not stuck with 50 whatever.
I hope someone can help!

I live in Miami, Florida with my fiance. Since my entire family lives in Indiana we have decided to have the wedding up there. I think it would be really fun to do a tropical themed wedding since a lot of people have never even seen the ocean. I want it to be elegant...not like hawaiian lei's and flowery t-shirts. Let me know if you have any creative ideas! Thanks!!

I'm planning my friends bachelorette party in a month and we're going to Provincetown, MA ... we can't wait!!
The 'maids and I want to have a list of dares for the bride (and us) to complete by the end of the night.
Has anyone done this??
Any and ALL answers welcome!!!
We don't mind being raunchy or far out there, since we'll be in Ptown Mass ... the gay capital of the East Coast. :)

I love my soon to be mom in law to death but I really wanna plan my own wedding. I know it's a couple of states over but i would rather do an all inclusive wedding knowing that everything will be taken care of by one person. Rather than having to go to several vendors and worry that someone will not show up. Makes me wonder if I should get married with a big wedding or just opt for the court house. Also he wants our wedding colors to be black and gold. I don't wanna look like a bunch of bumble bees. Does anyone have any advise that i can have without hurting his feelings?? Thanks alot

do you think being a 50's wife in this day and age is strange? I grew up believing that women do everything, but it's hard to do that and work too!! That's who my husband married and that's who he expects me to be forever I am sure.

OK, so heres the deal. My fiance and I were going to get married next summer in Hawaii, but my mom kept hinting how sad it would make her, so we decided to get married here w/ the family. I've always wanted the big grand wedding. My fiance doesn't, plus we really can't afford it. I want to get married this summer, I love this man with all my heart. How can we have a small wedding (I just want gorgeous pictures to show future generations) that is still beautiful and won't cost a bundle (I'm in college and we're paying for the whole thing ourselves)

I had attended the wedding of my most important business client's son's wedding. I have to write a thank you note for inviting me and making me a part of this grand event and also taking care of my accomodation.

So I've been with my bf for over two years now and I have a feeling that he's going to propose to me in the next few months. I know that I love him more than anyone I've ever dated before and I want to marry him, but I am the only person he has ever been with and I am afraid that he might regret this decision later. How do I know for sure that we are meant to be together?

I am helping a friend plan her wedding. Our budget is basically non-exsistent. We had planned to gather fresh flowers for the table centerpieces. Now we are having a drought and due to an accident on the bridge to our Island, we have had to stop irrigating! There is very little chance that we will be able to find flowers. Any creative suggestions will be appreciated! The wedding colors and blue and teal. No special theme - just inexpensive (or free would be even better). Thanks.
