How much are wedding flowers going to run me? We're going with real flowers, and her family is taking care of the bouquet. My family is taking care of the decorative flowers at the church and reception.

I know to see a florist soon, but i'm at work and cant make personal calls while i'm on the clock (but I can ask on the internet....shhh!!!)

We're having a small wedding in July, maybe 125-150 attendees. Generally speaking, not going way too elaborate and staying away from cheap, what's about the average price for flowers for that small of a wedding?

I am the bride. I didn't get to help choose the bridesmaids dresses at all! Style, length, color, nothing! My MOH took over and we argued in the store! She then told a friend that I was being a "Bridezilla" because I was upset with her actions! I let her have those dresses in that color and then revolved everything else in the wedding around HER choices & around that color scheme to shut her up but yet I'm a Bridezilla? I'm gonna SNAP!! If I'm bending to make her happy how am I a bridezilla????

okay I am getting married this coming April and this sunday we got several messages from our best man, he was all drunk and wasted saying he was in the hospital and my FI father got several messages from him that he got a girl pregnant. An hour later he called and said he was kidding. this isnt the first time he did something like this and him being the best man wasnt really our choice. while he was drunk he was saying how he was going coming to the wedding buzzed. My FI payed for his deposit on a tux and even got him out of jail a few times, he even picked him up at 3 somedays. So we told him we are sorry but we cant have him be the best man, now my FI grandma is not going to the wedding because of this. everytime, they get in a arguement, his grandma is alway on his brothers side. FI brother is also denied the whole thing and convince others not to come. we have saved the messages he has left. fi grandmother dont want us to come over either!!

Hello. I come from a HUGE family and I am the youngest cousin on both sides.I know most of my cousins on my dads side but I have honestly probably never talked to any of them in my life. I have probably met only 2-3 cousins out of probably 30 on my moms side. I am by far the youngest and this is why there has always been such a gap in communication. The youngest cousin besides me is 6 years older than me and he got married a few years ago and all of my siblings were invited, I was not.
So, this leads to a dilemna. I am having just a reception because we are getting married out of state. We want a small reception with just immediate family and friends. I am fine with inviting my aunts and uncles but would they be offended if I didnt invite their children? I was thinking of saying something like; "Please tell your children they are invited also" to the invites for my aunts/uncles, but not actually sending my cousins invites. Would that be tacky? Should I just exclude them all together?

My cousin is getting married this year (no date yet), and she needs help planning it. She wants something simple and cheap, but nice, you know? So we are meeting with her torrow to get some ideas together, so that we can come up with a theme, so that we can then get the date scheduled. So does anyone know of some websites that we can check out or some places to go to look around?

We live in Atlanta GA, if that helps any. If there is anything else, details wise that you would need to know, you can contact me by email......Thanks!!

Peace

I am looking to do something special for the lady on our 10 year anniversary in August. Something resonably priced. She isn't into jewelry or trinkets. We have 2 girls 5 and 7. No sitter. I need ideas! Thanks!

Today, I am going to visit a possible ceremony/reception site for my wedding. What are some important questions that I should ask them that I'm probably not thinking of? I know the basic charges for things (facility rental, staff, etc.). They work exclusively with one caterer, and I know who that is. What else should I be asking?

I know it's traditional, but I don't want to!! We're having the wedding in a small chapel, and I want to walk the aisle to "Red on a Rose" by Alan Jackson, which is slow, and I think, appropriate. Is it right for church though??

I am having a very simple wedding and plan to serve Pepsi products in plastic cups. My question is how many people does a 2 liter drink serve? I am inviting sixty people to my wedding, but I know everyone will not come.

I'm getting married this summer in St. Maarten. Anybody have any idea what the cost would be for a couple hours (at the most) for a wedding photographer? Since there will be no other family or friends present it won't be an all day event so I'm hoping it would be cheaper than a typical wedding photographer.

Are brides supposed to have a bridal shower with just girls, and also have a wedding shower, with everybody, and an engagement party to announce the engagemant? What is the spacing for a bridal shower and a wedding shower? Like 2 months before the wedding, or like a month after he proposes?
