First of all congratulations, you couldn't get married in a nicer place .Ilove Cyprus.I went to a Cypriot wedding in 2001,and it was awesome. The wedding ceremony took place in the monastery in AYIA NAPA .Please don't listen to people who say its tacky it is NOT.. September is a lovely month to get married in Cyprus. It is still very hot then ,just be careful what you eat and drink before the wedding ,and good luck.

My friends son got married in Cyprus a couple of years ago and they had it all planned and they paid a fortune getting all the friends and family out there. The day went without a hitch and the wedding was beautiful, on the beach and all that but a couple of hours into the reception everyone started getting sick and it turned out they had all got food poisening! Everyone was bedded down for days and they all flew back to England still feeling awful.
So whatever you do, make sure that the food had been properly and safely prepared and not left out for too long.

September is perfect wedding weather, not too hot but still warm enough to enjoy the honeymoon. Paphos has great facilities and locations. I am a local and I chose to get married in September.

It's a bit of a tacky place to get married really. It's a tacky place to holiday too. Bit like Tenerife if you've ever been there?
