I think Before Your Love a little too girly. Right? I'd really love to have God Bless The Broken Road as our wedding song. Any opinions out there?

My maid of honor and I got into a conversation over lunch yesterday about engagement rings. She and her boyfriend have been window shopping for engagement rings. I am so excited for her! So, anyway, I'm curious what is your favorite cut of diamond and your favorite "color" of gold?

My ring is white gold with a marquise cut diamond that I absolutely love! Ashley wants a round diamond, but is undecided as to wanting yellor or white gold.

Im getting married in oct and we getting ready to start with helip invations and all that good stuff but we've ran into a problem. I dont feel comfortable asking people at work for their home address i would rather just hand them out at work. But my finance and her mom think its tacky and i should mail them. is there anything wrong with handing them out at work. Would people feel comfortable giving out their address.

For some reason my ring size is somewhere between a 5 and 5.5. My boyfriend would like to buy me an engagement ring that has small diamonds, pave, all the way around the band. He was told that these rings cannot be sized after purchase. Is it better to go with the 5, which is quite snug, or the 5.5, which is a bit loose? It would not be so loose as to fall off, but it could shift from side to side.

I have a beautiful dress that I bought for my daughter's sweet 16 and it's only been worn once! It's in perfect condition could I sell it at the dry cleaners? I would like to bring it to the cleaners and have it pressed and preserved but at the same time could I just tell the cleaners that the dress is for sale? The dress cost me $900.00. I would sell it for about $750.00 only because I bought it 2 years ago.

I haven't spoken to my father in years, well, I have, but, not civilly. In anycase, I am planning a wedding and I do not plan on inviting him. My Mother(they have been divorced for over 15 years) says that she thinks my father is going to send us a check as a gift. I told her it will not be cashed, it will be returned to sender. I do not want his money. She says I am being ridiculous. Who is right here? Should I just take the money, knowing full well I can't stand the man, or send it back to him as a matter of principle?

My friend is getting married in a couple of months and I'm a bridesmaid. The problem is - her soon-to-be husband keeps hitting on me (and plenty of other girls). He has cheated on her lots of times and I know that she is aware of his cheating and has been for years. If she wants to accept that from him, that's fine and it's not my business. He just started hitting on me recently and I don't know what to do. I can't stand to be around him and I think he's disgusting. Should I drop out?

It looks like the date I wanted for my wedding will have a start time at about 1:45 and end about 2:45-3:00 or I could choose 3:30-:430 and the reception starts at 6 pm at a diffrent location, how do I fill the time until the reception at 6? And would you be likely to go to both if there is a gap between times? Also there will not be any out of town guest and this is in san antonio. I am looking at about 500 guests. Im having issues with the time gap....is it a big deal? what do u think?

I was engaged from 6 months and my wedding was after two mounth. when i took the decision to be engaged bec i felt that this person is nice, responsibe, has a strong character. There was a problem bet the two family but really it wasn't our fault but their. my fiance didn't try to solve this problem so i decieded to end this relation but i have been shocked in him he didn't even try again to fix this problem. i thought he loved me. i thought that he will return to say sorry for this but this didn't happen. now i am trying to forget him after i was seeing him every day . i want to be strong. i am strong but everyday i think about him and about what happened and i think that he will return to say sorry bec i thought that he loved me.

i was wanting to wear like a spring dress afterwards, where could i find a pretty dress but cheap. my wedding is going to be outside and will be in june. i also live in northwest arkansas. if that helps on how hot it will be.
