Make sure you have lots of shade for your guests, if at all possible. Check to see where the sun will be during the wedding at that time of year. You don't want all of your pictures to show squinty faces!

Have a back up plan, in case the weather is bad - you just never know!

Some friends of mine had their wedding last May in Florida (rather warm!) - but they provided themed fans for their guests. A friend of theirs drew a beautiful design that symbolized their relationship and utilized their colors and that was used on the fans. It was a unique, beautiful touch.

My wedding was in October in Florida, outside. It turned out great, but I was so nervous about the rain. For me, it was worth the risk to have the wedding outside.

Oh.. one more thing. Many of your female guests will be in heels. Make sure the ground is safe to walk on in heels.

good luck!

I was married outdoors 9/16/2006. We rented a tent ,tables and the chairs. We hung white lights all aroung the outside of the tent. We hired someone to roast a pig for us. He brought the cooked meat not the whole pig. He also brought macaronni and potatoe salad and roasted potatoes. We made Baked ziti and had meatballs. We made all of our party trays. We had a beautiful three tier wedding cake. We put camaras on all of the tables for our guests to take pictures. We had kids so we bought a moon bounce from toys r us. We had a keg of beer , alcohol table and soda. We used our own cd player for music. We has 70 people and the day was perfect. I wouldn't have changed anything. It just flew by to quickly. Good luck and congratulations. Our outdoor wedding was informal.

I would have pretty little fans printed so in case it is warm .
If the entire wedding and reception is outside, I would suggest having a more simple cool dress for you to wear as it might be quite warm.
Also be sure to have water or some kind of refreshing drink so no one will get too hott... especially if you have young children or elderly invited.
Hope this helped!

I've been to Vegas in October, and while it is slightly cooler, the sun is always there. Make sure you have shade for your guests, and hopefully some fans (electric and/or handheld) to keep the air circulating. You don't want your guests to be in a puddle of sweat by the end of the ceremony.

Always have a backup plan in case of inclement weather and K I S S. Keep It Simple Sweetie. Remember the bride and groom are the focus not the flower arrangements and the rest!

well my wedding is outdoors too 7/14/07 in Massachusetts... just make sure you have a place to go in case of rain because it would realy suck for all your guests and wedding party to get rained on....either that or have it under a tent so you are all set either way.

Have an alternate, preferably nearby, option available just in case of inclement weather.
