Wow, suddenly I feel like I'm getting a bum deal! Ours is going to be $2500, which doesn't include any prints but does include 2 photographers, the negatives, and the bridal session.
However, we did a lot of research and interviewed several photogs and this was a pretty typical price for the quality level in my area.
I also want to add - this is a big portion of my budget! We're paying for it ourselves, and are only planning to spend around $10K. We think it is worth it.

A friend of the family is taking the photos on the big day so just he cost of developing the film. I also made an appointment with a pro for the day before the wedding so we will have some photos just in case the friend doesn't take good pictures. There is a $35 sitting fee and $45 per print in an 8X10.

We spent about $120. We hired a photographer who took digital pics and just had him give us a CD of the all the pictures and printed the ones we wanted. Some we did on our computer (you know, just ones to show around to people who couldn't make the wedding) and some we had done at the photo shop (the ones in frames and albums). In total printing cost us about another $100 and we can print more anytime we like.

My photographer costs $1800. On my wedding day, I get two photographers. That's actually a pretty low price for his quality of work. If you are looking for a photographer, make sure you see a portfolio and trust the person. My cousin paid over $3000 and I could have taken better pictures, they were horrible! You can find good one's within any price range though. My sister however hired a friend. He got warped up in their wedding and didnt' take many pictures, which weren't great anyways.

I agonized over this because I wanted an awesome photographer. I ended up spending $2499 and cut out some other expenses in the wedding. In my area I just couldn't find a good one for any cheaper than that AND get the amount of prints and stuff that I wanted.

I have gotten quotes from several photographers and all have started at the $900 mark. So I'm going with a friend of the family and spending no more than $400.

Just under $2,000. I got a fantastic photojournalist in our area. I did not want to skimp on pictures. We are not having any videography. We get all the negatives. We have two people taking the pictures at the wedding and we have them all day.
