Its my favourite flower and I want to use it in my wedding, but was warned that it browns and wilts easily by someone? Does anyone know if this is true? Does anyone have any tips how to stop this happening? I have my heart set on them being my wedding flower.

Hi there

I am getting married at a barn venue this year and the only time we could book the registrar is 11.30 in the morning. We have got 60 guests for the day and some of them are grandparents/children etc. There is a gap of about 3 hours in the afternoon - I have got no idea how to keep everybody entertained! It is going to be a really long day for some people - the evening guests will start arriving around 6.30.

We are thinking of a close up magician and large garden games (like jenga) but we are on a tight budget and are worried this won't work for 3 long hours! Does anybody have any other ideas? I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks
Kate

The ring was bought in 2003 at a sale price of £1350. Its a yellow gold 3 diamond ring which I no longer wear and wish to sell. At local pawn shops I have only been offered £300 which I was dissapointed with because its worth so much more than that. I would not really like to sell it on ebay but I need to know realisatically how much I can expect to get for it. I still have the box and a life time of free cleaning.

My boyfriend and I have been together for roughly 2.5 years, but only "Serious" for about a year.Recently, he has made me part of his family, his brother & sister are good friends of mine and his dad calls me his daughter some days. His friends are my friends too...but we are both at extremely stressful points in our lives and he is out of town alot working for his dad's company. Just recently, we have gotten extremely close, but along with that, everyone has been asking us if we are getting married...including family. He told me he is considering marriage to me, and I just froze. The day I met him I knew I wanted to spend my life with him, but all of a sudden, I am terrified? What's wrong with me?

I am in the process of planning for a wedding and with the reception we want to limit the number of attendees. However, we have no limitation as to how many people can attend the actual wedding. How do you distinguish one from the other so you can invite more people to the actual ceremony than the reception?

My fiance and I are planning a vintage themed wedding. So we have decided to make black and white copies of family members photos (see my question I posted an hour ago) and incorporate them into the reception.

We are going to play all Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole type music during cocktail hour and dinner.

Any other ideas on how to decorate or add to the vintage theme?

I am engaged and we are planning to have a wedding in about six months so I cannot wait any longer to tell my parents that we are engaged. They do not want me to get married until I finish my BA, which could take up to 1-1.5 years, so I am finding it difficult to find the right words. Help!

I found a picture of the perfect one online once but I didn't save it and now I can't find it again. It was ball gown cut and strapless. The skirt was gathered and had small snowflake details/embellishments on it. I have completely forgotten the designers name. And now of course this is the dress I MUST have for my wedding. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I got a price from a catering company, the hall is included in the price so are taxes and grutuities (wrong spelling), as far as I know so is the DJ. For a buffett, with a 6 hour open bar, a table of fresh fruits and vegetables including dip and punch, wine and a sweets table with tea and coffee is $65 a person, so they told me it would be $6500.00 for a hundred guests.
THE BUFFET MENU IS:
Buffet #4 (Hot & Cold) (min. 50 people)

Linen, China & Silverware
Assorted Bread, Rolls and Butter
Garden Salad with Dressing
Caesar Salad
Macaroni Salad
Potato Salad
Coleslaw
Beans Salad
Steamed Mussels
Cold Meat Platters
(Black Forest Ham, Smoked Meat, Turkey & Salami)
Assorted Pastries
Hot Items
Roast Sirloin of Beef
Tortellini Alfredo
Roast Potatoes
Seasonal Vegetables
Tea and Coffee

The cake and decorations could have been included but my Grandmother makes wedding cakes, and flower arrangements, and I know alot of ppl who want to help decorate. What do you think???

Besides the common reasons: tax breaks, sex with the spouse, kids...etc. Are people just scared on living alone or just too lazy to take care of their own bills, household duties, and others tasks?

My fiance and I keep arguing about his sister being a bridesmaid in our wedding. I would have asked her but its not even like we are friends or anything. The only time her and I talk is when she has no one else to talk to. But he keeps going on about how she is family. (keepin in mind he wasn't in her wedding due to her decision to run to vegas and get married.) What should I do? *Serious responses only please!*

If you are looking for the dress store I recommended it is gianinarbridal. I'm just asking this question because I recomended it to a lot of people and I realized I had accidentally written giannabridal which is a different company that I have not used and I am not aware if its on ebay. Sorry ladies.

I will give out points to people who give feedback on personal experience for buying ebay dresses as I would like to know if there are any other great dress makers on ebay.
