It Very Much Depends Who's Wedding It Is? You should Always Consider The Feelings Of The Bride And Groom If You Are A Guest & Consult With Them About Your Choice!
Certainly If You Where Attending My Wedding, The Dress Code Would Exclude Black As It's A Wedding And NOT A Funeral!

I've worn black twice to weddings and nobody seemed to mind - also other people were wearing black too.

Kinda depends on who's wedding it is- some people might be offended. Lots of people wore black at my cousin's wedding.

black=formal, so if the wedding is formal, try to ask other guest who are attending too if they will wear one, but if none, put on some color over your black example a shawl or scarf or something...
