His parents told him since they helped pay for his sister's wedding they wanted to do the same for him. My parents will have some financial difficulty if they have to pay half the costs. We have a very large family and everyone is expecting to be invited. Was it right for my fiance to change his mind about this? I cannot afford to pay for the wedding either because I have pumped all my money into our future house which I have gutted and in the process of remodeling. My fiance has not contributed to any of the remodeling costs so I especially feel slighted since our future home is basically bought and paid for already with no help from my fiance. I bought the house, shouldn't he at least pay for the wedding and stop letting his parents interfere with his decision?

And if so, do you find them as catty and bitter as I do? I love the idea of giving advice and support. But it seems like most women on there have nothing better to do than try to make others feel bad. ANYway, just wondering if anyone else felt that way.

My girl wants to move into her appartment, but I think it would be better for her to come and live with me. I have my own ap and so she does, but I wouldn't like to live into a girl's ap.

I know that my boyfriend loves me and wants to have kids with me. That is certain. But what happens when the guy you are with suddenly decides that he is not ready to have a girlfriend? I mean, like, he wants me but he has becomes so "boyish: recently, which is fine, but the problem was he wasn't that way before... I know that he wants to make it work, but he is also very emotional invensted in himself and his friends whereas before I felt like it was all about me. Given that we just moved in together, I know that it has it's normal stresse but since I have a good head on me, with should both know what's going on. If he doesn't start acting like he wants to be with me for the rest of his life then I am going to leave him because why would you waste your time on someone who thinks you are medoicre? (sp?)

My sister has been madly-in love with this guy Jack since she was 16 and would always talk about how they were soulmates and nothing could keep them apart. When she finished high school they went to different school and broke-up as the long distance thing was too hard.Over the years they were on and off and she always said both of them knew they'd end up together. Now years they're both 26 and married to other people and everytime I see them together I can't figure out what happened. Why aren't they together when it's clear as day to everyone except their spouses that they belong together. She ended up pregnant with another guy who she ended up marrying but it seems so wrong to be apart from the one she calls her soulmate even if a child is involved when it's clear they belong together. It's a reputation thing that keeps her from walking away from her husband because he's a well known lawyer and she doesn't want people to gossip but she's not happy. I feel so bad for her.

My boyfriend and i have been dating for almost 2 yrs.Our wedding date is planned for the last weekend in Sep.Now, I have an 18 year old son and his children are grown.I'm 41 and he's 53,he's talking about us having a baby together.I love my fiance very much,he's my heart and my soul, but I don't want any more children. We've discussed it, and he said if that's what i want he doesn't have a problem with it.But I can tell he's hurt by my decision.I've explained to him about how medically risky it is for me to have another child right now because of my age.He said he understands. So,we're thinking of becoming foster parents once we're married. Is anyone else going through the same thing,or something similar.Talk to me.

we think that Las Vegas would be totally comfortable and what we have in mind and definitely memorable and unique for us. Now we are planning concerning the financial aspect as to how much it costs to elope in Las Vegas. Any one out there who went to Vegas bought the liscence and had the "ceremony" that could give me a lil bit of info here? Thanx

I'm going to book a flight soon to go to my grandpa's niece's wedding in August. Let's say, if the wedding gets cancelled and I've already booked by flight, how do I go about getting a refund from the airlines? Anybody here have been in that situation or work for the airlines?

Okay my bf and I were planning on getting married within this next year but now we are considering eloping. Just wondering if anyone out there has eloped or had family elope and how the outcome was.
We both know that our parents may be a lil upset but they also are okay with and like the idea of us getting married but they want us to have a ceremony they would prefer not to have us elope. Feed Back greatly appreciated.

My husband andI have a couple of weddings comming up and in one of them he is suppose to be a groomsman. I feel a little upset/jealous that MY husband will be looking all sexy in his tux and have to walk some other bridesmaid girl down the isle while I sit in the audience alone......is my feeling normal? Will the bridesmaid try to hit on my husband? What do wives do in this situation?
