Is black appropriate to wear to a wedding dinner in the Asian culture this day and age?

red may not be best. many times an asian bride will wed in red.

Asian cultures love the color RED - it is a color of dignity and respect to them. Black is never good to wear at a wedding - it is a happy day not a funeral. Wear red.

I've seen black worn more often now since it used to be inappropriate in all cultures.
