My wedding is in 6 weeks and my groom wants the color black in it. Oh, this is not a traditional wedding so to speak.

I know about Vegas, Gatlinburg, Nashville Indiana, and Niagra Falls? Any other suggestions? We want to get away for couple of days, but not go bankrupt doing it! Looking for someplace that offers the full service wedding (minister, photographer, video). There will just be the 2 of us, so reception facilities are not necessary. Planning on going late August, early September. Thanks for your help!

Hello, im a forty two year old man and have lived on my own all my adult life. I've always been a loner and often bullied, especially by the woman next door. However a few months back my life took the most dramatic turn for the better. Not only did i win £3.8 million on the lottery but the woman who i thought hated me confessed she secretly was in love with me and always had been. She explained she only bullied me as she loved me but didnt think i would be with her. Suddenly i have loads of money and a model like girlfriend, i feel like the luckiest man in the world.
We are now getting married and i mentioned a prenup and she flipped and said what was the point in getting married if i dont trust her. I feel so bad about being so insensitive to her. I need to make this up to her. I was contemplating transferring all the money into her name to show just how much i love and trust her. Has anyone had problems with suggesting prenups and how did you deal with it?

I need to buy centerpieces for my wedding. I like tall, glass vases, square or round. I think I can get the flowers to fill them, but I need about 12 or 15 of them, they need to be cheap, and I need to be able to ship them for cheap as well.

The wedding date is July 1st...and I am still drawing a blank. I need help coming up with a good, funny, wedding centered quote or two to use. Not to mention the actual toast...

My fiancee and I are both in recovery, though for drugs, we DO NOT drink. When people want to toast us at the reception, any ideas on this? Should we have ideas, should we toast with whatever someone has in their hands to drink already, other ____?

The affair will be very small, 30 guests or under, in our 3 bedroom split level w/ spacious (as yet unfinished but clean, somewhat firnished [including a pool table and full size fridge] and relatively welcoming) basement, a good sized back deck and porch. We have a medium sized but pretty back yard, with the woods to the back which offers privacy and added beauty. We are planning on having the ceremony in the back yard, and reception throughout the house and back deck... really spilling out whereever people want to wander on our property I guess. Now, with this in mind:
*Where's a good place to look for rentals for chairs, tables, ect?
*Should I have certain household appliances/items, such as the tv removed?
*Suggstions on pulling this together in 4 months w/o some expensive wedding planner?
*Has anyone ever been or known anyone who was married by a friend/relative who was ordained through the Universal Life Church?
*Any other suggestions are welcome...

My friend was asked to sponsor a wedding and neither one of us has ever heard of such a thing. Does my friend help pay for the wedding to people he doesn't even know? They are his girlfriends friends and he has never met them. All he was told was that he was going to be "godfather" to the wedding and would have a part to play in the ceremony. Please help cuz he doesn't want to pay for someone elses wedding!!!! Thank you!

well, i'm the girlfriend of "quiasmo" and he asked about tho "one" month I gaved him. it's not like he said... it's true I gaved him one month. we are a couple for 2 and a half years and during this period marriage was not an option for him. at the beginnig it was not for me. But the feeling grew up and now I want do get married!!! I have that right...don't you think?
if we are dating for so long, it's natural that I want to have a future in the relation...I must have! because I'm not dating him for anything...
Our relationship is very strange, because he is a different boy. He doensn't give kisses or hugues in public...he doesn't give me presents... he has a diferent opinion abou relationships!
So, like I don't want to be a "girfriend" forever, I decided to give him 1month!!!! it's fair right??
